Charlie and Friends

A huge hiatus later thought of getting back to the blogging bandwagon. So much changed so much occurred so many ups and downs. But now it’s the time to talk of my activity with my new found love- my darling daughter.

She always needs stories at night before going to sleep. So my wife and me told here the typical princess and moral based stories , but that soon ran out of juice and she got tired of fairy tales. She wanted something new, so retelling of animation movies were her bedtime stories , but that too lost juice soon.

Then she came to me one day and said "Dada tell me fish friends story", I asked "you mean nemo story or dory story?..."  . She said "noooo... fish friends... not nemo". And that’s how an entire new series of Charlie and his friends started.

It’s so spontaneous and refreshing and speaking your imaginations out and having your young one giggle laugh and emote to every sequence of the story is pure bliss.

As I told her the stories , I kept increasing the characters and now there are more than 20 characters and what’s more she knows each and every one of them! The characters have also included land animals.

Also as the story progresses, the characters refer to her , and she simply loves it.

My wife keeps telling me - you better start writing a book for your entire series. I believe I should.

But for now, I drew a little jig for charlie and friends.

Possibly the father for a kid in me would post some stories from Charlie and friends - you never know how interests take a turn!!!
